Kerala diaspora in UK begins nationwide campaign to raise funds to help India fight Covid

LONDON May 12: It was only last week this website raised the issue about not many Keralite organisations making any efforts to make contributions towards India’s fight against Covid which has had a second wave which killed thousands.

Reports received by this website shows that there are now several Keralite organisations who have begun to raise funds to help India and in particular Kerala fight Covid. Those who wish to donate please see below the organisations in the forefront in raising funds.

Malayalee Association of UK joins hands with NORKA Roots to build emergency hospital in Kerala

Malayalee Association of UK, based in London has joined hands with NORKA Roots, a Kerala Government undertaking, to build an emergency field hospital in Kerala.

MAUK will be supporting victims in worst affected areas under the guidance of the District Collectors Office.

MAUK’s initial initiatives are to support the building of a field hospital in Pattambi in Palakkad, supply medicine and food for the needy and provide PPE & Covid Test kits for volunteers.

MAUK has requested kind hearted community members to make a contribution towards the efforts make a difference to the lives of many.

UUKMA Charity Foundation begins raising funds for Kerala to fight Covid

Union of UK Malayalee Associations (UUKMA), along with its charity wing UUKMA Charity Foundation has begun raising funds for Kerala to fight Covid.
