Udaya Kerala Restaurant reopens for dine-in customers from Friday: Hot and Chilled food available for takeaway

LONDON July 09: Known for providing authentic Keralan dishes in London, Udaya Kerala Restaurant will be full reopened from Friday 11th July for the public.

Although the UK government allowed restaurants to open fully from 4th July Udaya Kerala Restaurant opted for the phased opening with delivery and collection service for Hot and Chilled food started on 4th July 2020. Now they will open for dine in from this Friday 11th July 2020 by adhering to strict guidelines issued by the government.

Udaya Kerala Restaurant has reviewed and redesigned their services both for dine-in and takeaway customers following the outbreak of the Covid pandemic.

Udaya Kerala is requesting its customers to pre-order the requirements as soon as you can which will help them to prepare the orders by taking by implementing all the health and safety guidelines.

As customer safety is given main priority, Udaya Kerala’s eat-in service will operate on a reservation basis only, until further notice. As a further precaution, tables will be limited, in order to ensure social distancing.

Telephone reservations can be made from today and online bookings will be available soon.

Hot food delivery is available for delivery and pick-up. Free delivery of hot food is available for a minimum spend of £25 within a 5 mile radius.

Customers are requested to make the orders at the earliest possible times for preparing the meals and organising it more methodically.

Udaya Kerala has prioritised their chilled option for those who are staying far away. Chilled option is available for free delivery within a radius of 5 mile radius with a minimum order of £25.

Udaya Kerala has worked out chilled options for those living outer London too but it has to be picked up. The chilled option allows customers to keep the food stored in fridge/freezers and relished at their home comforts.

Orders for food can be made only directly through Udaya Kerala Restaurant by ringing 020 8470 7400. Customers are advised to visit Udaya Kerala Restaurant website www.udayarestaurant.com to familiarise the Menus and decide on the Menus required prior to making contacts for placing the orders.

Udaya Kerala Restaurant are currently not online on any of delivery partners such as Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber. Customers will be able to order to your table and pay via the Udaya app (available later this month).

In order to maintain the restaurant’s reputation for delivering the very best dining experience, while ensuring safety of its customers, Udaya has introduced a few changes to the way how they work. Some of the changes they have implemented are as below:

Upon arrival we will record each guest’s temperature using a digital infrared thermometer. We will regretfully have to refuse entry to anyone with a fever/high temperature.

A standing hand sanitiser will be located at the front door, for use by customers and staff.

Handsfree washing technology has been installed in the washrooms.
All crockery and cutlery will be washed at 90 degree celsius and sterilised.
All surfaces and workstations will be frequently sanitised. High traffic areas & hot spots will be cleaned even more often.

Table menus have been replaced with disposable single-use paper sheet menus.

Staff will have their temperatures taken before each shift.
All staff will handwash frequently.

All staff will wear face visors, and PPE will be available.
All payments will be contactless.
