KALA’s Annual Day is all set to be a treat for Keralites in UK with Live streaming of events on October 18 at 3pm

LONDON Oct 15: Kerala Arts and Literary Association (KALA), one of the most prominent arts and literary organisation in the UK, will hold its 24th Annual Day on Saturday 18th October 2020 from 3pm. Live streaming of the event will be on www.tinyurl.com/KALAUK2020.

KALA events, which includes mughamugham, cultural programmes and innovative programmes, are much sought after by the literati in the UK. Due to Covid restrictions this year the events will be live streamed.

Chief Guest of the day will be Prof MN Karassery, a liberal social commentator and powerful orator, who is sure to push ones logical reasoning level and help raise the bar in intellects in the topic he will be speaking about.

Sixth Sense, a programme of mentalism and magic by Dr C A Praveen, Merlin Award winner for Best Corporate Mentalist and Magician and inductee to the Hall of Fame of International Magicians Society, is sure to be an entertainment.

Through Katha Prasangam Pazhayoru Pattu, Sreekanth Thamarasseri will bring to life ONV’s classical poems.

The 2020 KALA Puraskaram will be presented to Njaralathu Hari Govindan for his contribution in the promotion of Kerala Sangeetham especially Sopana Sangeetham. Hari Govindan has been described as the messiah of Kerala sangeetham. The programme will include an ensemble of music performances directed by him.
