In Germany, PM Modi will hold detailed bilateral discussions with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and co-chair the India-Germany inter-governmental consultations.

In their meeting on Monday, Scholz and PM Modi will discuss how to further ease immigration rules for skilled workers from India to tackle labour shortages in Europe’s largest economy, and how to accelerate technology transfer to India in the push to reduce climate-damaging carbon emissions.

His three-nation visit will conclude with a stopover in Paris on Wednesday where the Prime Minister will meet the newly re-elected French President Emmanuel Macron.

PM Modi is expected to address the Indian Diaspora in Berlin as well as Copenhagen.

Apart from bilateral meetings with leaders of several countries, two power-packed events have also been planned

Prime Minister Narender Modi is visiting Germany, Denmark and France at a time when the Ukraine issue continues to occupy the attention of most European leaders.
