Opportunity for qualified nurses to work in hospital in Jersey with starting salary of £44,120

By A Staff Reporter

LONDON March 9: An opportunity has arisen for nurses with a degree or diploma to work at the Jersey General Hospital’s Theatre department with a salary starting £44,120 per year.

Jersey General Hospital in Saint Helier is the only hospital on the island of Jersey.

Jersey is a British Crown Dependency internationally represented by the UK government. Along with beautiful beaches and coastal cliffs, Jersey is known for its fascinating military history.

The island has used its autonomy and singular constitutional relationship with Great Britain to maintain a certain degree of financial independence for centuries, and the profit-minded have been exploiting Jersey’s tax laws for almost as long.

Jersey is a tax-free shopping haven with no VAT on their products. This means that luxury goods and services are cheaper in Jersey than in the UK and France, acting as a perfect incentive to bring you over to the island. The standard rate of personal income tax in Jersey is 20%. This is the maximum that most residents will pay in a year.

The free nurses online recruitment hosted by Envertiz will be held on 21st and 22nd March 2022.

The nurses who can apply are with those who have the qualification as below:

Nurses with a degree or diploma, nurses those who have cleared IELTS with scores of 7 in S/R/L & 6.5 in W or OET with B in S/R/L and C+ in W, nurses who are eligible for NMC registration, nurses with a minimum of one year of experience.

British cultural influence on the Jersey island is evident in its use of English as the main language and Pound sterling as its primary currency. Additional British cultural similarities include: driving on the left, access to British television and newspapers, a school curriculum following that of England, and the popularity of British sports, including cricket.

Healthcare in Jersey is provided by a range of publicly and privately owned providers. Jersey does not have a National Health Service and is not part of the UK NHS system. Health matters are overseen by the Department of Health and Community Services in the Government of Jersey.
