Noted writer MN Karassery and UK Malayalee personalities to give lectures online from 10th June to 17th June

LONDON June 9: A host of personalities from a wide ranging field are set to deliver lectures on varied topics from 10th June to 17th June. The topics to be discussed will be about the various issues that have risen in the communities due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event titled “Corona Lokam Part II” cyber meet will be on Facebook Live everyday from 10th June to 17th June from 4pm (BST) and 8:30pm (IST). The host of speakers who will be doing the talks each day will be as below.

The highlight of the whole show will be the talk by M.N. Karassery, who is known for his writing and lectures on politics, literature, art and culture, and is a recipient of K.M. Seethi Shib Memorial Human Fraternity Award and holds the distinguished chair in Malayalam studies at University of Calicut.

Karassery’s activism targets caste prejudice, social justice and religious equality in India.

M.N. Karassery will begin the cyber meet session on 10th June 2020 and attendees will be able to ask questions and take part in brief discussions.

The other speakers who are slated to talk on each day are also noted for their distinguished services in each of the areas where there has been changes as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Arif Hussain (India) is an experianced orator, who has given many thought-provoking lectures at various forums.

Dr Rajeev Pattathil is a renowned scientist at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK.

Sindhu Sathesh Kumar is a talented TV presenter who is known for anchoring many culture programmes in the UK.

Dr Jinesh P.S. is an established public speaker who will speak from Melbourne, Australia for this meet.

Canatious Athipuzha is a skilled journalist, writer and illustrator from the UK who is prominent in the art and culture scene.

Ajith Paliath is a wonderful social activist who is well known in the UK’s artistic venues.

Dr Vishnu Mohan (India)is a great orator who has experience with delivering many informative lectures.
