CROYDON April 29: A Croydon Malayalee’s songs, for which he penned the lyrics, has won a prize at the Kerala University Youth Festival.
Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram sang Shah VH’s songs “Panchavarnnakkili Konchalumaay” (Gazal type song) and “Kaattu Pokum Vazhiye” (road trip song) for their ganamela and won the second prize.
The lyrics for the songs are penned by Shah VH from Croydon and music is by Salil BV Paravur.
It will be a special feeling for Shah VH as the songs for which he penned the lyrics were sung for the competition at Fatima Mata College in Kollam, where he attended for his Pre-Degree education.
A music album released on Youtube channel Neelakyuil with lyrics by Shah VH from Croydon and music by Salil BV Paravur has been receiving positive reviews. Listen to some of the songs from the album.
