Pakistani and “Sikh for Justice” protesters clash with Indian supporters in London

By A Staff Reporter

LONDON March 9: A joint protest organised by the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) and ‘Sikh for Justice’ group to highlight Indian Prime Minister Modi government’s violation of human rights, discrimination against minorities and other religions, turned violent this afternoon (Saturday March 9, 2019) in London.

The so called peaceful protest was held today (Saturday, 9th of March 2pm) in front of Indian High Commission London.

At the same time of the protest another group of Indians staged a protest against anti-India activities. The group had called on through their Facebook group India United We Stand and several turned up.

Video posts show that clashes erupted with not evidence on what flared up the violence. The Indian supporters were outnumbered by the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) and ‘Sikh for Justice’ protesters.
