
Nobel Prize winner Malala ‘ties the knot’ with official from Pakistan Cricket Board in Birmingham

LONDON Nov 9: Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, the youngest ever winner of a Nobel Prize, has announced that she had got married.
Malala, 24, posted photographs on social media of her wedding to Asser Malik, general manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) High Performance.
On Twitter, Malala spoke of her joy “for the journey ahead”.
Today marks a precious day in my life.
Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.

Malala married her partner Asser Malik from Lahore in Pakistan at a ceremony in her Birmingham home.
Malala gained international recognition for her activism against the Taliban’s efforts to stop girls from attending school.
Malala shared sweet photographs from the wedding day, where she wore a beautiful pink bridal Nikah, to Twitter.
