Lockdown could last till June; Half of patients in intensive care are dying

LONDON March 30: Over 200 more patients have died in the UK after contracting coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,228, while 19,522 people have now tested positive.
It comes as cabinet minister Michael Gove said the coronavirus lockdown will be in place for a “significant period” and could last longer if people to do not sick to the rules.

Professor Neil Ferguson, director of the Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College, told the Sunday Times total lockdown could last until June.

A study by the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre (ICNARC) also found almost half of virus patients in intensive care are dying.
