Kent Hindu Samajam to celebrate Maha Shivrathri today in Gillingham

GILLINGHAM Feb 21: Shivratri is a Hindu festival which is celebrated by people following Hinduism across the globe. People often fast on the night of Shivratri and sing hymns and praises in the name of Lord Shiva. It is believed that the people who fast on this night and offer prayers to Lord Shiva bring good luck into their life.
Kent Hindu Samajam will celebrate Maha Shivarathri today (Friday 21st February, 2020) from 6.00 pm until 6:00 am on Saturday 22nd at Medway Hindu Mandir, 361 Canterbury Street , Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5XS. 

Shri. Jatheesh Panikkar from Somerset will be blessing the congregation with his special message and Shiva Mahatmyam. Kent Hindu Samajam requests its members and supporters to attend the auspicious and spiritual event at the Mandir.
