LONDON Jan 9: Among all the busy life schedules and commitments a non-resident Keralite would not part ways with the Keralite in him. His life of yesteryears always return to take him back to those times when he spent his beautiful times in his homeland Kerala.

Here we have a group of former Government Engineering College Trivandrum 1975 batch coming together to give life to a beautiful song. The friends get together for holidays in Kerala when they all have a mutually convenient date.

However, the last time they got together they decided to give life to a song where all are part of.

Joe Ouseph, who lives in the UK, took the initiative to pen lyrics to a song titled “Spandhanam”.

Dr PS Chandramohan, who is a noted singer in Kerala and former principal of Trivandrum Engineering College, gave life to the song by singing to the tunes of another colleague Ganesh Kumar, a retired military colonel, living in Chennai, who is the music director for this song. The orchestration is done by another colleague of theirs Martin who is settled in the US.

All these friends, who have spread to different places, studied together at the Government Engineering college Trivandrum 1975 batch.

Joe Ouseph is father of Badminton Olympian Rajiv Ouseph and is settled in Hounslow in London.
