Cricketer Manilal Viswambharan’s mother’s funeral to be held on March 26 in Croydon

CROYDON March 24: The funeral of Gomathy Viswambaran, wife of Late Krishnan Viswambaran, who passed away on 18th March 2020, following a cardiac arrest at the Mayday Hospital in Croydon, will be held on Thursday 26th March 2020 at 3pm at the Croydon Crematorium East Chapel, Mitcham Road Croydon CR9 3AT.

The Family issued a press statement as below:

“In light of the COVID-19 outbreak we understand that it may be difficult to attend the funeral; therefore please keep our mother in your prayers. The funeral is kept only for immediate family members.
A rememberance gathering for our mother’s death anniversary will be held the following year”.
Gomathy Viswambaran arrived in the UK in early 1980s and has been residing at Abbey Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 1RW.
She is a native of Vilabhagam in Varkala in Kerala.
The family has been residing at Govind Cottage, Seematti Junction, Chathannoor, Kollam.
She was loving mother of Girijamani, Manilal and her Late daughters Ramamani and Ambikamani, mother in law of Lekha and grandmother to her grandchildren.
Manilal, who is an avid cricketer and business owner, based in Croydon, is a popular figure among the London Malayalee community.
