Cricketer Manilal Viswambharan’s mother passed away in Croydon

CROYDON March 19: A senior citizen from Croydon passed away yesterday (Wednesday 18th March 2020). Gomathy Viswambaran, wife of Late Krishnan Viswambaran, passed away yesterday following a cardiac arrest at the Mayday Hospital in Croydon.
Gomathy Viswambaran arrived in the UK in early 1980s and has been residing at Abbey Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 1RW.
She is a native of Vilabhagam in Varkala in Kerala. The family has been residing at Govind Cottage, Seematti Junction, Chathannoor, Kollam.
She was loving mother of Girijamani, Manilal and her Late daughters Ramamani and Ambikamani, mother in law of Lekha and grandmother to her grandchildren.
Funeral will take place in the UK. More details will be updated once the funeral date is fixed.
Manilal, who is an avid cricketer and business owner, based in Croydon, is a popular figure among the London Malayalee community.

We realise that due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, it may be difficult for some of you to visit us personally. Please therefore, keep my mother in your prayers.
