
Another death shocks UK Malayalees: Forest Gate resident Sivaprasad from Ernakulam passed away

LONDON Feb 16: It was only couple of weeks back UK Malayalees had to deal with the death of a Sachith Pillai who was residing in Southall. The community are only finalising the repatriation process for the body to be sent back to his home town in Varkala.
Another death has shocked the Malayalee community in East Ham and Forest Gate.
Sivaprasad Shankaran (54), who was residing at Hampton Road Forest Gate London with his 20 year old son, passed away suddenly following a cardiac arrest on 15th February 2022 at his home, family friends reported to this website.
Sivaprasad is son of Late Shankaran Nair and Lakshmikutty Amma of Pulpraputhran House Pidavoor Pallarimangalam, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam.
He leaves behind wife Sajitha, who is teacher at NSSS High School in Varapetty and two children aged 20 and 17. The 20-year-old son Karthik is a student in a university in London
Following falling ill to Covid, Sivaprasad had some medical illnesses for which he has been receiving treatment from the Newham Hospital.
He had his son beside him when he suddenly fell ill collapsed. Although the ambulance was called straightaway but he didn’t survive.
Malayalee Association of UK are actively supporting the son in the UK and liaising with family members back in Kerala.
