LONDON Dec 26: From 1 February 2023, teachers with a teaching qualification from nine countries will be able to apply for jobs in the UK under a fairer approach to obtaining the qualified teacher status (QTS). From February 1, 2023, the Department for Education (DfE) will be changing the way they award qualified teacher status (QTS) to teachers from overseas, said a government note.

NEW DELHI Dec 22: The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in India has issued ‘Guidelines for International Arrivals’ in context of COVID-19 pandemic and updated the same from time to time. The present guidelines are being revised in light of increasing trajectory of COVID-19 cases being noted in some countries across the world. The notification today is in supersession of guidelines issued on the subject on 21st November 2022, said a press note.
