Patriot Teaser Out: Mammootty and Mohanlal Join Forces for High-Octane Thriller (VIDEO)

LONDON, Oct 5:  The much-awaited teaser for Patriot has arrived, promising an action-packed thriller headlined by Malayalam cinema legends Mammootty and Mohanlal.

The film follows a retired JAG officer, played by Mammootty, who is falsely accused of espionage. Determined to clear his name and protect the country, he undertakes a covert mission. At his side is Mohanlal as a battle-hardened operative from the armed forces, setting the stage for a gripping partnership.

The teaser teases mounting tension as Fahadh Faasil’s character voices concern over the duo joining hands, hinting at deep power struggles and layered intrigue. Adding to the stellar ensemble, Nayanthara and Revathy appear in pivotal roles, raising the stakes even higher.

Patriot also marks Mammootty’s long-awaited return to the big screen after an eight-month hiatus due to health concerns. The superstar recently resumed filming in Hyderabad, reuniting with fans and colleagues in what is being hailed as one of his most significant roles in recent years.

Excitement around the project has only grown with endorsements from Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan, both of whom shared the teaser on social media.

Fans have responded with unbridled enthusiasm. One commented, “Mammootty and Mohanlal—the CEOs of Malayalam cinema—are finally back together. This is the return of the kings.
