First-Ever Malayali Literature Fest in UK on June 21: Apply for YLF Literary Award By May 31

LONDON May 17: Under the leadership of Yuva Kala Sahithi UK, a landmark literary event is being launched in London — the Yuvakalasahithy Literature Festival (YLF) — inspired by Kerala’s premier literary festivals. This cultural celebration will take place on June 21 at West Drayton Community Centre, Harmondsworth Road, West Drayton UB7 9JL.

The festival will bring together prominent figures from the worlds of literature, art, and culture, featuring voices from both Kerala and the UK. Attendees can look forward to a wide range of engaging activities, including:

Calling All UK-Based Malayali Writers! Apply for the YLF Literary Award

As part of the festival, Yuva Kala Sahithi UK invites applications for the YLF Literary Award, open to UK-based Malayali writers. The award will recognize outstanding published works in the following genres:

Novels
Short Stories
Poetry
Travelogues

To apply, send soft copies of your work along with your CV to ylf@yuvakalasahithy.uk by May 31.

A distinguished panel of writers from Kerala will judge the submissions. Winners will be honored at the YLF event in London on June 21.
