Student who arrived much earlier than start of course date facing deportation from UK

LONDON April 9: A student who travelled to the UK to attend a university course much earlier to the course start date is now facing deportation.

The student is reported to have travelled to the UK two months early.

According to reports in The Guardian, he came to the UK after being given the wrong enrolment date by his university.

The student was incorrectly told by the University of Law that he must arrive by October 2022 for a postgraduate course beginning in January 2023.

A mix-up on dates means the student has travelled too soon and that now the university has reported him to the Home Office.

Interestingly the student arrived in January 2023 and started his course after all necessary but but it was only later found out by the university that actually he arrived several weeks earlier than he should have.
