LONDON Feb 12: A Keralite student living in Luton was arrested by the police last week for inviting and trying to meet an ‘underage girl’ for wrong reasons by chatting with her online.

The student, who is also said to be working as a carer, is named as Sanchi Sadan (name changed) from Ramapuram in Kottayam district of Kerala.

The sting operation was carried out by Broken Dreams, a non-governmental voluntary organisation working as Online Child Protection Team and Sacred Souls, a team of dedicated decoys helping to protect kids from online predators.

Broken Dreams and Sacred Souls got Sanchi arrested by the police and have published the whole story of their sting operation on their Facebook pages.

According to the Facebook report, Sacred Souls decoys Daz and Faye confronted Sanchi Sadan when he arrived to meet what he believed was a 14 year old girl for wrong reasons on 31st January 2022 in Hemel Hempstead.

The whole incident from when they confronted Sanchi until the police arrived and arrested him was broadcast Live on Facebook pages of Sacred Souls and Broken Dreams.

According to the Facebook post, Sanchi had in fact been talking to two girls, both of who he believed were underage but these were indeed Sacred Souls decoys Daz and Faye.

According to the Facebook post, Sanchi had sent both decoys various amounts of private pictures, carried out an explicit act on a video call and asked to meet one of them for wrong purposes. Sacred Souls then asked Broken Dreams to step in and stop him his tracks at the arranged meet place organised by Sanchi himself, said the Facebook post.

Broken Dreams Team followed Sanchi and stopped him and confronted him with the truth that he was actually speaking to adults who were under the disguise of kids. They asked him why he continued to chat with them although they said that they were underage. Sanchi didn’t have any answer.

This is another example of where Keralite students require guidance in matters to social life and misuse of social media.

This is published also to advise students in regards to safe usage of online media.

Numerous accolades have poured in on social media for decoys Daz and Faye for the amazing work on catching this predator and saving numerous other children who would have fallen prey to Sanchi.

Broken Dreams and Sacred Souls continue to carry out sting operations online to protect children from such predators.
