Kala annual day online celebrations on Oct 30 to feature three renowned artistes from Kerala

LONDON Oct 25: KALA, arts and literary organisation, based in the UK, will hold its annual day celebrations online on Saturday 30th October from 2pm.

The chief guest for the event is Prof. Omchery N N Pillai, renowned novelist and playwright. He is a writer who has made outstanding contributions to Malayalam literature and the modern Malayalam theatre movement. He is the author of more than a dozen works, including poetry, prose and drama.

The KALA Puraskaaram this year goes to Shri CJ Kuttappan, a pioneer in Naadan Paattu. He has won numerous awards, including the Kendra Sangeeth Nataka Academy award. He has played a huge part in popularizing Naadan Pattu in Kerala.

There will be a Chaakyar Koothu performance by Margi Madhu.

There will also be a variety of performances by KALA members, and it will be an exciting afternoon filled with nostalgia and entertainment.
