Kerala to enforce strict 7 day home quarantine for all passengers from abroad

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Jan 7: Kerala has decided to enforce strict 7 day home quarantine for all those international passengers arriving in the state, minister Veena George said today.
RTPCR tests will be done for all those coming from high risk countries. If tested negative, then they have to go under 7 days of home quarantine and on the eighth day another RTPCR test should be done. If you are tested Negative, you should remain under self-observation for another 7 days.

If the passenger is tested Positive then their samples of Covid test will be sent for genetic testing. They will be admitted to isolation followed with treatment given as per standard protocol and discharged as per the instructions of the treating doctor.
