MAUK donates medical equipment worth Rs 2.25 Lakhs for Suraksha Pain & Palliative in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE July 17: Medical equipment worth Rs 2.25 lakhs was donated by Malayalee Association of UK (MAUK) to Suraksha Pain & Palliative, a registered charity in Koilandy, Kozhikode, Kerala.

Suraksha is one of the sixteen COVID Relief projects MAUK have undertaken in Kerala in the last two months.

In a ceremony held to mark the handover of the medical equipment, Mohammed Riyas, Minister for PWD & Tourism, Kerala, India, congratulated Suraksha and MAUK for their meaningful and timely actions.

“MAUK’s exemplary interventions have hugely contributed to Suraksha Pain & Palliative. Such humanitarianism especially during the Pandemic has made Kerala an example for the whole world. I congratulate all friends who have made this possible,” he stated.

MAUK, once again express our sincere gratitude to UK Malayalees for their continued heartfelt support.
