Leftist cultural group Sameeksha UK opens new unit in Salisbury

SALISBURY June 29: The twentieth unit of the UK’s largest leftist cultural group, Sameeksha UK was inaugurated on Saturday in Salisbury in Wiltshire County. The branch was formed by a group of Left minds in Salisbury meeting through online media following the lockdown.

The meeting was presided over by Rajesh Sudhakaran.  Sameeksha national secretary Dinesh Vellapilly inaugurated the unit’s offical functions.

Thereafter, the President of the Sameeksha, Mrs. Swapna Praveen and the Vice-President, Mr. Prasad Ozhakkal, spoke about the relevance of the Sameeksh and its activities amidst people abroad.
At the meeting, the participants expressed their views on the activities that should be undertaken by the newly set up Sameeksha unit.
A new  Committee and office bearers were chosen to carry out future activities.

Jiju, who was elected as the first secretary of the branch, thanked all those who attended the meeting.
