King’s College London invites Indian students to apply for 30 awards for PG degree starting Sept 2025

LONDON March 10: King’s College London has introduce the new Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for postgraduate study at King’s, worth £10,000 as a fee reduction for India-domiciled students.

Award details
The Vice-Chancellor of King’s College London, Shitij Kapur, offers up to 30 awards, each of £10,000, to India-domiciled students starting their first on-campus postgraduate degree in September 2025 in the following faculties:

Arts & Humanities
The Dickson Poon School of Law
Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience
King’s Business School
Life Sciences & Medicine
Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Science
Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care
Social Science & Public Policy

Award value
Scholarships will cover a tuition fee reduction of £10,000. This will be split across the year with £5,000 payable in Oct 2025 and the remaining £5,000 payable in January 2026.

Eligibility criteria
The awards are available to India-domiciled students studying a first postgraduate degree at King’s, in one of the faculties named above. It is only valid for full time, on campus study, and only for courses starting in September 2025.

Those who wish to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards should submit their application to study at King’s by Friday 25 April 2025. This ensures that you have the best chance of receiving a decision ahead of the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards 31st May 2025 deadline.

Prospective students must have accepted their study offer by 31 May 2025 in order to be eligible to apply for the award. Deposits must be paid by the deadline stated on the offer.

The awards will be applied to the selected students’ tuition fee accounts as a fee reduction. They will not be available against any other costs, and no cash equivalent will be offered. Any residual tuition fee liability must be met by the recipient.

Application process
Eligible students will be given the opportunity to apply for the awards when they are made an offer for their chosen course.

They will be invited to submit brief answers to a series of questions set by King’s. Faculties will review the answers, alongside the applicant’s academic credentials, and make the awards accordingly.

Selection process
We will be looking for evidence that award holders will make the most of their time at King’s, at both academic and personal levels, and that they will use their skills and knowledge to enhance society once their studies are complete.
