LONDON Aug 3: After completing MCA in Coimbatore, like any other aspiring software engineer professional Neethu Johns pursued her career by starting working for big names such as Tata, Accenture and others. However, she was a tad hestitant in settling with a career she was chasing.

Cooking was something which she enjoyed doing in the past. Two years back while she took a break from work when she had her children she decided to try out some dishes using the spices she brought back from Kerala.
Being a software professional Neethu was adept with shooting, editing and uploading videos on Youtube. Neethu started to upload videos of her cooking, between 15 and 20, and she left it there as she knew there are not going to be immediate results from an online world where there are millions of new vidoes being uploaded daily.
Neethu consistently logged into check on the number of hits and there wasnt much activities. However, soon she saw one of her videos was generating numerous hits and continuing to pick up with views. This sparked in her the fire and from then on she never allowed the momentum to wane.
“I was not looking for instant results. I knew I had to wait. I waited patiently and finally that one video which caught the attention of viewers gave me the much needed stimulus after a long wait”, she said.
Soon she started to upload videos of cooking, which she has tested at home. She started to see her subscribers increasing and thus her responsibility for catering to their needs too became important for her.
Soon her kids came up with a name for her Youtube channel, Mums Daily, which was well received by the worldwide audience. Today she has more than One Million Subscribers, which is a first eve for a Malayalee in Europe.
Neethu says: “The job came to me when I began doing what I love the most. This is her motto and life’s aims for any aspiring person at any age for yourself to be happy.”
Neethu and husband Johnson are settled in Cardiff in the UK and back home Neethu is from Thrissur and Johnson is from Poonjar, who works as nurse in London. The couple have four kids Liam, Jayden, Nathan and Megan.
