AI Impact Summit 2026: PM Modi Welcomes Global Leaders And AI Giants To Delhi

NEW DELHI Feb 16: The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from February 16-19, brings together global leaders, tech CEOs, and startups to discuss artificial intelligence, innovation, and emerging technologies, with a focus on AI safety and global cooperation; Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also in attendance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the India AI Impact Summit 2026 highlights the capabilities of the country’s youth and reflects India’s rapid progress in science and technology. He also invited global participation, saying the event underlines India’s growing role in global innovation and development.

In a message shared on social media, PM Modi said it is a matter of pride that people from across the world are coming to India for the summit. He noted that the gathering showcases India’s growing strength in technology and its contribution to global development.

Global participation and sessions
Around 600 startups and institutions are participating in the summit, while more than 300 exhibition pavilions have been set up. Over 500 sessions are scheduled, with thousands of speakers discussing artificial intelligence, innovation and emerging technologies.

The summit is themed around “people, planet and progress” and will focus on AI safety, governance, ethical use and data protection.
