Emergency services were called to Stane Street at around 9.10pm to a report of a collision between a Skoda Fabia and Renault Clio.

The sole passenger of the Skoda – a 23-year-old man from Dorking – and the driver of the Renault – a 19-year-old woman from Billingshurst – were both taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The car in which the Keralite youth was traveling collided head-on with another car coming in the opposite direction. The information available is that the passenger of the opposite car died with the driver of the car being admitted with serious injuries.

Two young women were traveling in the Renault Clio car that came in the opposite direction.
