Chevening Scholarships for students who wish to study in UK universities: Applications open till Nov 5

LONDON Sept 3: The online applications for the Chevening Scholarships for students who wish to study in the UK are open from August 6. The candidates can apply and submit their application forms till November 5, 12 pm(GMT). Interested candidates can apply through the official website chevening.org.

Candidates who are interested to participate must submit their education documents, references, and any one UK university offer to participate according to the schedule given on the website.

If selected, the recipient will receive the payment of tuition fees, travel cost of the candidate to and from the home country. An arrival allowance will be granted along with a departure allowance. A monthly allowance to fulfil living and accommodation expenses.

Chevening Scholarship: Eligibility criteria

– The applicant must be a citizen of a country or territory under the Chevening eligibility list.

– Aspirant must return to their home country for at least two years after the completion of scholarship.

– The candidates are expected to have a work experience of at least two years and roughly 2,800 hours.

– Applicant must hold an undergraduate degree for further master’s programmes in UK.

– The candidate must apply to three different courses so that the candidate receives at least one of those courses.

The candidates must remember that before applying for a Chevening Scholarship, they must possess at least two years (2,800 hours) of work experience. This covers full time, part time, voluntary work and paid or unpaid internship. The applicants can combine up to fifteen different work periods to meet the requirement.

The selected candidates will receive email updates about their application status at each step of the selection process. The candidates can also check their status on the online application system by logging in with their registration details.
