Kala Annual celebrations on Oct 19 with dance play of Vayalar poems and Live music: Reserve Tickets

LONDON Oct 6: Kerala Arts and Literary Association (KALA) UK are holding their 28th Annual Day celebrations on the 19th October at Berkhamstead School, Centenary theatre, Kings Road HP4 3BG.

The chief guest for the occasion is celebrated Malayalam poet and lyricist Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, who is also the recipient of KALA Puraskaram.

Highlights include eye-catching dances to a string of mesmerising hit movie songs penned by Sarath and a colourful evening of dance, drama and music.

As well as theatre, the evening will bring life to Vayalar Ramavarma’s poems and the biopic of this legendary figure. Vayalar Ramavarma, also known as Vayalar, was an Indian poet and lyricist of Malayalam language. Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, who is a Malayalam lyricist and poet is the son of Vayalar Ramavarma.

An audience with Sarath, who is a captivating communicator, has all the makings of a crowd pleaser.

This will be followed by a musical extravaganza with a live orchestra in the accompaniment of a sumptuous dinner.
