Here are details of help for displaced migrant Care Workers in Northwest London

LONDON Feb 15: North West London Integrated Skills & Talent Hub – For Health, Social & Primary Care have been appointed the North-West London Sub-regional partner by the Regional Lead Local Authority.

North West London Integrated Skills & Talent Hub will be delivering redeployment support by finding alternative social care employment, for the many displaced international social care workers that have been affected by the UK Visas and Immigration’s revocation of sponsorship licenses across the country.

The North West London Boroughs cover with the support of the Local Authorities’ Adult Social Care Leads are: Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Westminster, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

North West London Integrated Skills & Talent Hub will support overseas recruits who have been displaced by unethical practices or by their employer’s sponsorship licence being revoked.

They will strengthen ethical practices in international recruitment and the employment of staff working in adult social care as well as develop shared solutions to prevent and respond to exploitative employment issues.

They will be supporting the Displaced Care Workers by signposting information to job-match employment opportunities in North West London.

They aim to assist the Displaced International Recruits within a timely manner, as they are aware of time sensitivity from notice period received.
