Keralite woman dies in accident in London

LONDON May 28: Mrs Bency Joseph (43), wife of Mr Sijy Mathew of London Indian Orthodox Church met with an accident and passed away yesterday (Friday 27th May) morning.

According to information received from friends, it was an unfortunate accident which occurred at her home which resulted in the death.

Bency Joseph did her schooling in Dubai and did further education at UCL London and has been settled in the UK with her husband.

Bency, a native of Kottayam, was working as Planning Consultant at BJ Architectural Design in Chelmsford.

The couple have two children aged 11 and 14.

Bency’s friend Bitu Thomas wrote on her Facebook: “To my dearest friend and artist. A mother, a lovely smile, a beautiful voice and the most adorable laugh. Rest in peace and soar with the angels. We will miss you. Bency Joseph here exhibiting her paintings at Kensington art exhibition in London. She was one of the few Malayalees who was selected to exhibit there. Was so proud of her. She was an initiator. And had a unique ability to make you feel like you were part of her inner circle. Hoping God give her family strength during this difficult time”.
