Student visas to European countries: Recruitment agent from Kerala arrested for duping persons

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Oct 15: A Malayalee has been arrested for allegedly duping people of crores of rupees by promising education visas to European countries, news reports from Kerala said.

According to the report, TS Roger or Mark Roger, the main accused in the case, was arrested in Delhi’s Gudgav area. The arrest was made by the Peroorkada police in Delhi.

According to the police, Elisa Thangarajan, a native of Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram, changed his name to ‘Mark Roger’.

The fraud was committed by promising to issue visas online.

His firms, which were operating under the name Alpha Mary International in Pattam and Thampanoor, are closed.

According to the police, a multi-crore fraud was committed through a firm called Alpha Mary International.

The Twitter account of this recruitment agent were advertising for student visas to Europe up until yesterday (14th October).

This website made contacts today by ringing the contact number provided but they did not reply to our call

Just a search on this educaiton recruitment firm will show that there are negative reviews and cases being filed agains them since 2018.
