Rotary Club of Cochin to hold biggest online event for school students all over the world with prizes

KOCHI July 27: Difficult times come at all times but it all depends on how you work around it and address it to come out of it more reinvigorated. The Covid pandemic has put spokes in the wheel for the whole world where each and everyone is looking towards on how to adapt and move with changing times.

Rotary Club of Cochin Lords is too very much in the forefront in looking at alternatives to beat the challenging times.

Rotary Club of Cochin Lords have now launched the Rotary Club Contest, a project envisaged to provide primary school and pre-school students a platform to discover and cultivate the literary and cultural talents of young children. All proceeds from the conduct of the contest will be used for community service undertaken by Rotary Club of Cochin Lords.

Rotary Cloud Contest is a Youth-Service under Yes Projects of Rotary Club of Cochin Lords.

The competitions will be carried out in five different categories like LKG, UKG Stds I and II, Stds III and IV and Stds V, VI and VII.

Competitions are designed according to their age-group like action song, story telling, smiling contest, speeches in English and Malayalam, photo and film-making contests.

The organisers will publish the results of the competitions by 15th August 2020, the Independence Day of India.

Prizes and certificates will be sent to the winners through reliable courier services to the participant`s address in India.

Submission of videos and photographs between 6th August 2020 and 12th August 2020.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Contest open to wards of residential/non-residential Indians.

2. One child can participate in any or all events in his/her category.

3. Registration fee for each event is Rs. 100/-.

4. All participants who have registered successfully will be sent a confirmation mail with the link to upload the video files.

5. Only those submissions made between 00:00 HRS on 6^th August, 2020 to 23.59 HRS on 12^th August, 2020 through the link provided in the confirmation mail will be considered for the contest

6. Maximum size of each file to be uploaded will be 100MB.

7. Identity Card to prove age will have to be produced if demanded by the ROTARY CLOUD CONTEST COMMITTEE at any stage of the contest.

8. Certificates and medals of winners will be couriered to the address in India.

9. Decision of the judges shall be final.

10. All videos and photographs uploaded as competition item shall remain the property of Rotary Club of Cochin Lords.
