Newly arrived Keralite nurse dies in Bexhill in East Sussex Wednesday 30 November 2022 7:15 PM UTC BEXHILL Nov 30: A newly arrived Keralite nurse working at Bexhill Hospital at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust passed away today, local news reports said. Nimmya Mathews (34) was undergoing treatment at the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust after her collapsing while at work on Sunday. Following emergency treatment and scans it was diagnosed that Nimya suffered from a medical condition, reported to be a tunour in her head, for which she required further treatment. Thus she was shifted to the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust on Monday night where she had a surgery and following it her condition worsened and she passed away this afternoon. She leaves behind husband Moovattupuzha native Lijo George and three-and-a-half year old son. The family reportedly arrived in the UK early this year.
