Keralite nurse passed away in London

LONDON June 2: Helen Babu (65), who worked as a NHS staff with the Whipps Cross University Hospital in London, passed away yesterday.

Reports say that Helen has been unwell for sometime and has been admitted to the hospital but she passed away unexpectedly succumbing to her illness and leaving family, friends and the community in a state of shock.

Helen leaves behind husband Babu and her two daughters Gina Babu and Veena Babu work with the NHS Trust in the UK. Veena and Gina are popular in the dance scene within the community as both are noted dancers who have won accolades for their performances.

Helen is a native of Kottayam in Kerala.

Helen’s funeral will be held in the UK as the family has been permanently settled in the UK for several years now.

The family, who lives near to the East Ham Boleyn Theatre, attends the Lady of Confess Church in Upton Park.
