LONDON Feb 28: There has been several news reports in the media in regards to the changes being discussed about organ donation through a consultation process, which ends on March 18, 2018.
We caught up with Shibu Chacko, organ transplant coordinator to clarify for us on what the government is doing at present in regards this.

What is the present rule in regards to organ donation?
What were the actual challenges with the prsent rule?
What is it that the government is trying to change through this consultaiton process?
How long will this process take for it take to become a law?
At present can a person chose the opt out option by going on to the UK organ donation register on its website?
At present if a person decides to agree for organ donation, can his relatives chose not to after his death?
