On average 8,000 plus Indians die abroad every year

MUMBAI: The number of Indians dying abroad has been rising steadily since 2013 and exceeds 8,000 annually.
Now, according to a study by the Airport Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases and road accidents have been identified as leading causes of fatality.
The highest number of bodies (16.1%) arrived from the UAE followed by Saudi Arabia (13.5%), Kuwait (10.9%), Oman, Bahrain and Dubai (6.7%). The other 52% came from other countries.
