Netherlands government informs Kerala that they dont need nurses from Kerala

Kottayam Dec 5: The Netherlands government has reportedly told Kerala government that they do not need nurses from Kerala to work in their health sector. The knowledge of Dutch language is the major problem that is stopping the recruitment of Kerala nurses.

However, the government sources have informed that there is still hope and discussions on this matter are still ongoing.

Pinarayi Vijayan had said earlier that he has assured the service of Kerala nurses after the Ambassador from Netherlands informed the need for 30,000 to 40,000 nurses in the health sector of Netherlands.

The Dutch government informed that local residents will be their first priority, which will be followed by nurses from European Union countries.
