LONDON Jan 31: The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) invites applications under Commonwealth Scholarship for UG/PG, BE/B.Tech courses, level courses from the recognised universities in India.
Interested students from United Kingdom may apply for the scholarship online through A2A Portal. Detailed guidelines on the process of applying for ICCR Scholarships online on A2A and the procedure and norms governing the same is given on thewww.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in.
Students are advised to exercise due diligence & research in a dedicated manner on the specific admission criteria laid down by various Universities for each subject, and ensure that submit all relevant documentation as required by the universities in addition to the basic certificates mentioned in the application form.
For this, they may refer to the Universities Handbook/University Grants Commission’s website and concerned institute’s website for eligibility criteria.
Student applying for the scholarship must complete 18 years of age at the time of admission and proficient in English language. For BE/B.Tech courses, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in their school leaving examinations.
These scholarship slots include return economy class air-fares to the nearest port and 3rd AC Train fare to the place of study, if so required. One way ticket may be provided by the Mission. It is mandatory that students selected for the admission under scholarship have to stay inside hostel wherever available. No student shall be allowed to stay in private accommodation as per the Policy of the Council.
Students are requested to send their applications online through High Commission of India by 15th February 2019 for consideration.
