THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BDJS president Thushar Vellappally and Vice-president Paili Vadyattu will contest the Lok Sabha election from Thrissur and Wayanad respectively as NDA candidates. If Rahul Gandhi decides to contest from Wayanad, there may be a change in BDJS’ candidacy here.
With the declaration of the above names, the BDJS has confirmed the names of candidates contesting its five seats.
“On Thursday morning at 9, I’ll pray at Sivagiri Mahasmadhi and go to seek blessings of my father (Vellapally Natesan) and mother ( Preethi Natesan), who are in Kollam SNDP yogam camp house.
I’ll also visit Mata Amritanandamayi and get her blessings and then go to Panmana Chattampi Swami Memorial for making floral tributes.
After that, I shall stay at Kanichukulangara house. Tomorrow morning, I will start campaign from the front side of Thrissur Vadakkumnatha temple.
“I shall certainly win from Thrissur. No doubt about it. I shall not go there to contest and lose. I’ve got many relations in Thrissur. I studied in Irinjalakkuda school.
I’ve many friends. I’ve good relationship with SNDP yogam, NSS, Ezhuthachan department and many others,” he said.
He added, “I don’t have to resign from SNDP. I’ll continue in the vice president position of SNDP”.
