KOTTAYAM Sept 27: Two cases related to a nun who accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal of sexually abusing her have been handed over to the Crime Branch.

The cases pertains to attempts made to influence the nun and public display of her picture by Missionaries of Jesus. Both cases have been registered at Kuravilangadu station.

Fr Erthayil had offered the nun land and convent in Pathanamthitta or Idukki districts if she was ready to withdraw the case. He also threatened her of dire consequences if she didn’t budge.

Though Erthayil visited Kuruvilangadu convent two times to meet the nun, he could not, after which he communicated over the mobile phone.
