NEW DELHI: A nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court will hear the batch of pleas on the issue of Sabarimala temple women’s entry case and other related cases for 23 days. The decision was taken in a meeting of advocates called upon by the Supreme Court Secretary General.
The recommendations made in today’s meeting will be considered by the larger bench on February 3. If the larger bench approeves the recomendations, it will start hearing the pleas from February second week onwards.
Each section will be allotted 10 days each for presenting their arguments and 1 day each for response arguements.
