UUKMA tribute to NHS heroes: Opportunity for children and youths to showcase their talents Live on Facebook

LONDON May 26: UUKMA (Union of UK Malayalee Associations), an umbrella organisation which has affiliation of majority of the UK Malayalee associations scattered all over the UK, has come forward to show their appreciation to the NHS staff who has been providing exemplary services to the community at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a Thank You to the NHS, UUKMA’s cultural wing Samskarika Vedi will be providing opportunity to children and youths aged between 8 and 21 to perfrom Live through UUKMA’s Facebook Page. The event is titled Let’s Break It Together, a tribute to heroes at the NHS.

The Live Show on UUKMA Facebook Page will be Live from Thursday 28th May 5pm.
Children and youths will be able to showcase their talents like playing instruments, singing, performing comedy skits and any such skills they may have.
Those who wish to perform Live need to do a small demo of the program they wish to perform for a duration of 5 minutes and send it to the Whatsapp number 07846747602. The programmes when performed will be of 20 minutes.
Kids from all over the world are expected to participate and more details will be made available to the public, UUKMA president Manoj Kumar Pillai and UUKMA secretary Alex Varghese said.
Rex Jose of Rex Band UK and JJ Audios Jojo Thomas will provide all the technical support for the Facebook Live performances which will be performed by the kids from their own homes.
The programmes will be coordinated under the guidance of UUKMA Cultural forum lead CA Joseph and coordinator Kurian George, vice chairman Joy Agusthy, General convenor Jaison George and Thomas Maratukulam.
Those who wish to particpiate or showcase their talents need to get a five minute recording of what they aim to perform and send it to Whatsapp group 07846747602 as soon as possible.

UUKMA (Union of UK Malayalee Associations) is an umbrella organization of UK Malayalee Associations. It is a non-profit organization, most broadly, it serves to cultivate and support the exchange of ideas between Malayalee Associations in the UK.
