LONDON Sept 7: Malayalee Association of the UK (MAUK), leading Kerala charity in the UK, has setup MAUK Kerala Flood Relief Fund to aid with the rebuilding of lives in Kerala that were damaged by the disaster.
“We are seeking donations from community-spirited businesses towards this cause.
We are holding a Fundraising Event with cultural programmes by local and artists from Kerala on 16 September 2018 at Ilford Town Hall.
We are inviting businesses to make a donation on stage during this event to show their support for the Kerala Community,” Sreejith Sreedharan, director at MAUK, said in a press note.
Individual companies can choose the amount they wish to donate and if they prefer without revealing the amount to the public. Representatives of participating companies can present the money/cheque on stage in front of an expected audience of 600.
