By A Staff Reporter LONDON Nov 25: Kaaval, an action thriller film written and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, starring Suresh Gopi and Renji Panicker in the lead roles is released in UK from today. The film hit the screens from today (25 November 2021). The film is screened in Showcase, Odeon and Vue Thampan (Suresh Gopi) and Antony (Renji Panicker) are a long time best friends and business partners who owned a saw mill at Kattappana in the past. A family tragedy and its falling-out separates them for good. But now Antony and his family faces a grievous situation, and he is forced to ask his old friend for a help out. The timeline of the story spans over two generations. First report reviews from Kerala says that "Kaaval is a comeback of the old Suresh Gopi in a dignified way. The characters have aged, but like Thampan says “the fire might have burned out the ember is still hot.” Another review says, "the film changes to a twist, which excites the audience. In short, this movie is a one-time action thriller movie" In January 2021, the producer confirmed turning down an offer of ₹7 crore for digital release. In early April 2021, it was reported that the theatrical release date was scheduled in July 2021. However, in October 2021, the makers announced for a theatrical release on 25 November 2021.
