LONDON May 11: Union of UK Malayalee Associations (UUKMA), along with its charity wing UUKMA Charity Foundation has begun raising funds for Kerala to fight Covid.

The collected funds will be handed over to Kerala’s Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF)

Covid 19 in Kerala has taken a really barbaric turn. Not only it is spreading like wild fire but also the severity is much more intense this time around.

Many of the community members have been severely impacted in the last few months and many lives have been lost.

People are suffering to get medication, oxygen and even basic services such as cremation are a struggle.

Oxygen supply issues, understaffed hospitals, desperately needed medical supplies, etc. are their immediate needs.
