Sree Narayana Guru Mission of UK to launch project to create wildflower areas at Priory Park on March 5

LONDON March 1: The Sree Narayana Guru Mission of the UK is launching a community project at Priory Park, Boleyn on March 5, 2023 supported by Newham Council’s Green Street Community Neighbourhood programme.

People live and work in inner city neighbourhoods have limited access to wildlife-enriched parks and landscapes. To address this problem locally the Sree Narayana Guru Mission of the UK will create wildflower areas at the park with the help of the local communities and children from the Cleeves Primary School.

This two-hour long event starting at 1.30 pm will be a fun-filled one with everyone attending have the chance to seed bomb the designated plots of the park to create wildflower areas.

This project will help residents and school children to help connect with nature and enjoy their local park better than ever before.

Sree Narayana Guru Mission of the UK will also provide seed bombs to take home to all those attending the event to make their gardens brimming with wildflowers, butterflies, and other insects. This project will eventually help improve the wellbeing of the communities living and working close to the park in the years to come.
