DAGENHAM July 15: A group of Keralites in London have come together to lease an allotment from the local council to to grow their own organic fruit and vegetables.
The group has now started to see the fruits of their labour and have donated vegetables to the church, charity and to other Malayalees.
Speaking to Sol Point, who has done a video on these Malayalees one of the group member says: “Renting an allotment not only provides the opportunity to grow more plants but it can be a very sociable and enjoyable experience; a place where you can meet-up with other like minded people who are often very passionate about gardening”.
