LONDON March 3: London Hindu Aikya Vedi, which is working towards the realization of a Guruvayoorappa Temple in London, will hold this year’s Shivratri Dance Festival on March 11.
This year’s dance festival is being organized through the London Hindu Aikya Vedi’s Facebook page due to Covid restrictions.
Leading dancer and acclaimed artist Mrs. Asha Unnithan is leading the Shivratri Dance Festival of London Hindu Aikya Vedi as in previous years.
Along with Asha Unnithan, Shri Vinod Nair, Aarti Jagannathan, who specializes in Bharatanatyam, one of the national dance forms of India; Smt. Amrita Jayakrishnan, granddaughter of renowned poet and songwriter Shri ONV Kurup, dancer and choreographer, and Deepu, Blessed Artist of South UK Dance Company, Eastbourne
This year’s Shivratri Dance Festival features renowned dancers from across the UK, including Apsara, who specializes in contemporary dance as well as classical dance forms.
Thekkumuri Haridas and Thembalath Ramachandran, representing the London Hindu Aikya Vedi, said that in addition to praying to Jagadeeshwara for worldly healing and healing, all friends are welcome to the Shivratri Dance Festival in the name of Bhagwan.
